For this Mother's Day I wanted to make something different for my Mom. In the past my gift to her had always been a handcrafted piece of jewelry, but this year when she planted her little lettuce plants, her salad babies, this design was planted in my mind. Two days of nonstop work, including early Mother's Day morning were spent creating this special garden. See photos below for a peek at how I planted Mom's salad babies in a perfect place abundant with rain and sunshine where they enjoy themselves all day long.
